Michael Knowles

Michael Knowles is a freelance student of theology. He holds MAs in Theology (Cantab) and Sociology (Kings London). He also studied for four years in India. He has been very active in political matters in support of the founding principles of the Labour and Trade Union Movement and he supports devolution for England in the form of its own parliament. He has campaigned hard and long over the years on environmental issues, such as when he founded and led the very successful Campaign to save the 88 acres of the Walthamstow Marshes in East London adjacent to the River Lea from being destroyed for gravel extraction.
